If you ever find yourself travelling between Roda and Sidari just when a drink is required or even more so a bite to eat, then there is a meze bar that has
to be visited. Along the main road, at Karousades, there is a new place in town, Mezedomayeia (Μεζεδομαγεία).
Situated in a triangle at the edge of the village, on the main road, this “new kid on the block”, and its owner Nikos Badounos are causing quite a stir. With views, from the terrace, across the Ionian waters to the Balkan Mountains beyond, enjoying a selection of mouth-watering delicacies from the menu with a coffee or a chilled white wine, for those not driving, it rarely comes any better, including the prices!.
Slip into the Greek style of eating and order several dishes to share. It’s truly an experience not to be missed.
